Fortune favoured Rightville Boy in the www.thurlesraces.ie Handicap Chase as he was left to come home an easy winner.
Paddy Neville 's charge travelled well into contention turning for home in the 2m6f contest and was gifted the lead at the second last as front-runner Kilcrea crashed out and hampered Do Be Doin, who was also challenging.
Andrew Lynch soon found himself nicely clear on Rightville Boy and shook him up to assert before the final fence.
Do Be Doin stayed on again in the closing stages to take the runner-up spot but could only get within eight lengths.
The winner was not scoring out of turn having been knocking on the door in the last couple of months.
"That was badly needed as we've after a bad run of it and had more placed horses in the last couple of months!” said Neville.
"He deserved that today and I thought he was handicapped a bit high and hadn't been dropped for his recent runs. His weight was catching him a few days but he had a lovely weight today and had a great jockey on board.
"We'll tip away and aim for Limerick over Christmas.
Regarding his other horses, Neville added:- "I lost two of my best horses recently as Millstream Ned was killed at Galway and She's A Portrait had a fracture to her knee; we found it in time so she'll be back."
