Murtagh seen to good effect
The Champions Restaurant Handicap was won by Johnny Murtagh aboard the Ger Lyons trained Nortburn and owned by M Hughes, Eugene Larkin, John McDonnell and Gerard Watters.
Murtagh is now level with Fran Berry in the Jockeys Championship the pair remains two winners behind Pat Smullen.
Lyons said, "The horse deserved to win he has being running consistently well. He has put on a bit of weight this season and we hope to win a premier handicap with next season. I'm delighted for the lads they are a local syndicate."
