Moving On bounced back to form in great style when running away with the 2m6f handicap hurdle at Thurles.
Pat Lynch's charge had proved really consistent during the summer but his form looked to have tailed off at the end of last year.
The 20/1 shot was back on top form today, however, as he recorded a six-length success.
Ben Dalton sent his charge to the front four from home and he moved on from Saddlenomore turning for home.
He was soon in command and pulled clear of his rivals. Dalton could afford to ease home in the closing stages as 25/1 shot All Honours came through to take the runner-up spot.
“That was his 99th run today,” revealed Lynch afterwards.
“He loves being handy and doesn't like to be crowded in his races. He'll get a holiday now for a couple of months – I think he deserves it.
“The ground at Limerick was terrible. He wasn't able to handle it but still ran a decent race. It was lovely ground today and I couldn't believe it when I walked the course before racing.” Dazzlers Day was sent off the 11/8 favourite to follow up his recent Limerick success but was under pressure before four out and faded to finish last of the ten finishers.
