The CIT Cream Of The Crop (Q.R.) Handicap Hurdle looked open on paper but favourite Our Jerry (9/2 into 7/2) decisively landed the spoils in race five at Cork.
With Tom Hamilton up, Our Jerry built on an Ayr second placing from 24 days back - his first outing since August 2016. Galuppi finished four and a half lengths off Our Jerry in second place, whilst fourth position was taken by John Joe Walsh's Golden Glen
Walsh's other runnner, Fly Round The Bend (20s into 14s) was staying on with place prospects when attempting to run out and unseating Simon Cavanagh two out.
"He had his issues but there are a lot of people who love this horse. He'll be a great fun horse and it's great to have Charlotte (Younghusband), George (Pappadakis) and James (Noble) as new owners in the yard and hopefully he will be able to give them more fun," said winning trainer Evanna McCutcheon.
"I have nine riding out at the moment, they are a complete mixed bunch and that's my first jumps winner - I trained Maarek when he won a Group 2 at York in 2014."
