Colin Keane bookended the card at Navan as Accountability justified odds-on favouritism in the mile maiden.
The heavily-punted 4/7-favourite ground it out by half a length for trainer Ger Lyons.
He was ridden to get the better of Whitsunday Islands approaching the final furlong but a staying-on Midnight Sunshine kept him honest all the way to the line.
The latter couldn't reel him in, however, and had to settle for the runner-up berth at 8/1.
Whitsunday Islands gave best and was two and a half lengths back in third at 9/2.
Assistant trainer Shane Lyons said: “He's after coming on an awful lot from Leopardstown and he looks great.
“We were fairly confident today but it was a slowly run race. He was still a bit green at home and we knew that he'd come on again from that so we wanted to ride him a little bit cold.
“The way the race was run he ran a little bit keen under Colin and got to the front and a lot of daylight. That's as quick as he wants the ground.
“A faster run will suit him a lot better and he will come on an awful lot for greenness.
“He's a horse going forward and he's shown us that at home since Leopardstown.
“We got that out of the way now and we'll see what happens after that. We'll have a bit of run with him.”
