High Gales won't stop Lambe
The Albany Hurdle saw a game winner in the James Lambe trained High Gales after he ran out a three parts of length winner under David Casey .
Winning trainer Lambe said afterwards: “He’s a very smart horse, we took him to England to educate him. The plan was always to comeback here, he was a little bit mentally immature.”
“Tony McCoy has won on him and likes him and he’s only going to improve. He wants good ground but in saying that the last day he won there was fair cut in the ground so he’s very versatile.”
“The plan now is to go for the novice hurdle over two and half miles at the Murphy’s Meeting at Cheltenham I think he's earned it after winning here.”
