Following horses reappearing quickly was the approach that paid in the opening couple of races at Navan. In event number three, the Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Handicap, it was a runner switching codes, Hannah's Magic that emerged victorious.
We last saw the victorious daughter of Lomitas in action when she competed over flights at Ballinrobe last month.
Here, under Sean Corby, the 9/1 chance made smooth progress from the rear in the straight. Arthur Moore's runner led a furlong out and soon asserted on the way to a three and a half length win over Nancy Rose
"It's good to get a win into her before the end of the year. She's been a bit unlucky.
"She'll go hurdling during the winter and she's already had a run. I think she'll make a smashing dual purpose mare over the next few years, she has a great attitude.
"She was good in the stalls today as she can be a bit funny," reported Moore. (GC & EM)
