In a tremendous driving finish involving four horses Circumstances (11/1) came out on top for David Wachman and Wayne Lordan as the pair secured their second Dundalk winner on the day.
The three-year-old daughter of Galileo pipped Cebuano (18/1) by a nose with Alghanem (7/2) a neck back in third and 3/1 favourite Castle Guest a head further back in fourth at the end of the extended mile and a quarter handicap.
“She’s a tough filly. We’ve been waiting for that for a very long time. We’ll keep her going over the summer if we get good ground. The yard is going well,” David Wachman commented.
