Golden Ticket comes up trumps
Golden Ticket got up under a strong drive from Padraig Roche to deny front-running favourite Morning Ireland to win Punchestown's concluding bumper.
The Galileo gelding gave owner JP McManus a treble on the night and was backed from 6/1 to 9/2 while the runner-up was supported from 4/1 into 11/4 favouritism.
The Christy Roche trained winner won by a length and a half with 22 lengths back to Ontheground in third.
Christy Roche said: "He had a very good run last year at Listowel on his debut but lost his way a bit after that. He tended to run a bit free.
"He'll jump a hurdle for the summer and he likes a bit of good ground. He's a bit stronger than last year."
