Ger Fox enjoyed a lucrative Christmas run and the 5lb claimer will have high hopes of further success when Ravished runs in the Boylesports Irish Grand National At Fairyhouse Handicap Chase.
Fox, and his twin brother, Anthony, managed the notable achievement of riding two winners apiece on Down Royal's St Stephen's Day card.
Ger then turned his attentions to Leopardstown and Limerick, with the Mouse Morris-trained Ravished giving him another triumph over hurdles at the latter venue on Monday.
Ravished now reverts to fences from an attractive-looking mark of 116 in this sphere, with Morris evidently keen to strike while the iron is hot.
Last year's winner, Thelobstercatcher looks one his biggest dangers.
The other race on the programme over fences, the Fairyhouse Supporting Ratoath Beginners Chase, houses a field of just five contenders.
The extended two-mile-five-furlong event should chiefly concern Moonshine Lad and Noble Emperor
JP McManus' Noble Emperor is a lovely prospect for in-form duo Tony Martin and Mark Walsh. The bumper and hurdle scorer will be expected now to make it third-time lucky over fences, after two solid efforts over the big ones to date.
It might not stop there for McManus and Walsh, either, as the Philip Dempsey-trained Whatareudoingtome is taken to follow up on his Navan success in the Special Offers In Bobbyjo Bistro Handicap Hurdle.
McManus has two in the Start The New Year At Fairyhouse Handicap Hurdle.
Walsh is on the long-absent course and distance winner, College Boy but the market will tell a tale as Owen Mc (Paul Carberry up in the green and gold) needs scrutiny representing Noel Meade.
