Found A Fifty dug deep late on to land the spoils in the Bar One Racing Fortria Chase at Navan this afternoon, giving Gordon Elliott and Jack Kennedy a treble on the card.

The Bective Stud-owned gelding went to post the 11/8 favourite in the Grade 2 contest and cruised up to take the lead two from home.

He looked set for a convincing success as he started to assert down to the final fence but after getting underneath the last, and jumping right, he was strongly pressed on the run-in.

Long-time leader Solness rallied to press him in the closing stages as 200/1 shot Senecia also stayed on well in third.

Found A Fifty had enough up his sleeve to record a neck success at the line.

An enquiry was called as the winner had come across runner-up Solness at the final fence but the result was unaffected.

Elliott said: "Jack said he didn't feel as well as when he had ridden him (before).

"He thought down the back straight they were going quick and he was flat out.

"He probably made too much ground from the fifth last to the third last, he got there real quick and he just pulled up in front.

"I'd say he is a good horse and that was a fair performance."

When asked about his entries in the John Durkan and the King George, he replied: "He won't run in the John Durkan and probably not (at Kempton) either.

"We might go to Leopardstown over two miles at Christmas."

Both Paddy Power and Betfair made the winner a 16/1 shot (from 33/1) for the Champion Chase. Paddy Power are now 10/1 for the Ryanair Chase having been 12/1.
