On Fiddlers Green justified odds-on favouritism when taking the Sporting Press (Clonmel) For Printing Beginners Chase in runaway style.
The Stowaway gelding was sent on before three out, and was in total command in the straight.
Davy Russell was out of luck in the previous race when unseated from 7/2 favourite Cabarete at the very first flight but he gained compensation here.
The well-backed 4/6 favourite was eased down on the run-in but still had 21 lengths to spare over Teds Island with Valentino’s Choice another 13 lengths adrift in third.
Formerly trained by Eddie Hales, the six-year-old gelding has joined Henry de Bromhead in recent months and provided the Waterford handler with his third winner of the week.
De Bromhead said, "I'm delighted and he got a super ride. He probably just ran to his mark and that was good enough. The bit of better ground seems to have helped him a bit as well.
"He stays well and I'm delighted for his owner Declan Ganley. He might go back for a handicap, I don't think the handicapper will put him up for that.
"He might go for a novice either, and he could go to Galway or Killarney. We will enjoy today anyway and see from there."
