Estephe scores for Stack

The Ballygar Maiden saw a thrilling finish with the Joanna Morgan trained Livaleo battling it out with the 4/9 favourite Estephe with the latter getting up in the closing stages to score by a head in the hands of Johnny Murtagh.

Winning trainer Tommy Stack said afterwards: “She hated the ground there this evening. Johnny felt she was still very green but she‘s a very nice filly.”

“We bred her ourselves and hopefully she’ll make a Listed filly in time.”
