Duaiseoir steps up to land last
The Jim Bolger-trained Duaiseoir left his maiden form well behind to make a winning debut in handicap company in the concluding race at Dundalk.
Kevin Manning produced the gelding (12/1 to 7/1) to lead under a furlong out and he showed signs of greeness by swerving right in the closing stages.
He still had plenty in the tank, however, to post a length-and-a-quarter success over Impressionist Art
"He was backward and we knew he would take time - we just didn't know when it would be," said owner Dave Bernie.
"He was immature and Jim kept saying just to have patience with him."
