Sansrisk (13/8) had some very good form in the book and gained a deserved success in the ITBA Celebrating Northern Region Award Winners Mares Flat Race.
Philip Dempsey fitted first-time cheekpieces on David L'Estrange's daughter of No Risk At All and she made all the running under Finny Maguire to account for market rival Ellen Kelly by two and a half lengths.
"She is probably unlucky that she didn't get a bumper by now, she was running in very good company and just had a few hard luck stories," said Dempsey.
"She had a good run over hurdles and we said we would probably keep her a novice for next season.
"It was a messy old race the last time in Wexford where she got pushed wide. Today she had experience.
"We had plenty of experience so it was probably the obvious thing to do (make all) around here. We didn't have to but, if there was nothing going a gallop, there was no reason she couldn't sit in front.
"She's a good filly, her dam is a half-sister to Chacun Pour Soi. She's a lovely-bred filly.
"I don't know about a winners' bumper, maybe we might look at a Flat maiden."
