Bleu De Vassy produced a classy performance to claim the Bar One Racing For Auction Novice Hurdle at Navan, giving trainer Gordon Elliott a double on the card.
The Gigginstown gelding was a facile winner on his hurdling debut at Fairyhouse and went to post a 4/6 shot to follow up in Grade 3 company this afternoon.
Jack Kennedy tracked the front-running Royal Hollow in the two-miler before asking his mount to hit the front over the second last.
The Cokoriko gelding fiddled that flight but was soon in control and flew the last to record a cosy five-length win over Mr Percy

Elliott said: "I was impressed with him in Fairyhouse, but we weren't sure how good of a race it was. You have to be impressed with what he did there.
"Jack said he didn't mind that ground. We were running him last year on heavy ground and I couldn't understand why he was getting beaten. I was disappointed in a few bumpers last year. Maybe he doesn't want it as soft as that.
"I'd say he is a good horse and he looks nice. He travels with a lot of pace."
When asked about the Royal Bond, he replied: "He's in it, but it might come a bit soon."
Betfair introduced the winner at 20/1 for the Supreme Novices' Hurdle while shortening him to the same price for the Turners, having been 50/1.
