Bula bounces back to land gamble
Top-weight Chebona Bula ran out a convincing winner of the Jossestown Handicap at Clonmel.
Sam James' mount claimed the front-running Philosophers Guest over a furlong from home and soon powered clear.
Eoin Doyle 's charge kept on strongly inside the final furlong to post a five-and-a-half length verdict over Hilarys First
The winner had attracted support from 10/1 this morning and was sent off 4/1 favourite on course.
"He lost his way a little bit and came down the ratings a bit as a result," said Doyle afterwards.
"He'll mix it during the summer over jumps and on the Flat."
