Boragh Princess scores for Elliott
In-form trainer Gordon Elliott saddled his 27th winner in Ireland this campaigh when 11/8 favourite Boragh Princess landed the mares maiden hurdle at Downpatrick under Paul Carberry.
Runner-up Shabra Charity took up the running two out and looked like landing the odds at 25/1 but Carberry moved into second place at the last and outbattled the runner-up in the last hundred yards for a neck victory.
Elliott commented: "Shes from a good pedigree. I'll try and find a mares race for her in England at two mile four furlongs."
