Bawn charges home in Dundalk finale
Sally Bawn charged down the outer in the final furlong to land the concluding 1m2f handicap at Dundalk.
The filly was just denied at Ballinrobe last time and gained due reward under Danny Mullins, recording a comprehensive two-and-a-half length victory.
Runner-up Sinnataran didn't enjoy the smoothest of passages and was also struck over the head with an opponent's whip inside the final furlong.
"That was justified after Ballinrobe. We were disappointed a little then and it's nice to get her head in front," said winning trainer Caroline Hutchinson.
"Hopefully we'll be back here next Friday for the apprentice handicap all being well."
