Bashir continues Deegan run
Bashir Biyoum Zain is set to be stepped up in class after running out a cosy winner of the mile handicap at Dundalk.
Willie Supple produced his mount with a well-timed run to lead inside the final furlong and he went on for a three-parts-of-a-length victory over Rock Pipit
"He did it well and he's a nice horse. The mile was a little bit of a concern but he saw it out well," said trainer Paul Deegan afterwards.
"We'll step him up to pattern company and hopefully he's up to it. He has a touch of class about him."
