Dolly May sprang a 33/1 surprise to win the most valuable event on the card, the Irish EBF Median Sires Series Maiden, in the hands of Gavin Ryan.
The newcomer by Outstrip turned for home in sixth place before finishing with a rattle to get up close home and land the 15,000 euro first prize by a neck.
Fellow newcomer Bellabel (20/1) also stayed on well from off the pace to be second, with the flattering Arges (5/1) dropping to third close home having looked the winner with a hundred yards to race.
The well-backed 15/8 favourite Sangria faded to fourth having set out to make all the running.
Winning trainer James Barrett said: “She is a very nice, straight, honest filly and I told Gavin to take his time because she was drawn badly.
When she got there she won with loads in hand and will come on from that. She was even baulking and gawking after passing the line.
"She is a very strong two year old and I think she's a black-type filly. I sell most of mine but if she isn't sold, she'll step up to black-type."
