At First Sight on second attempt
At First Sight was all the rage in the mile juvenile maiden to step up on his debut fifth at the Curragh last month, and the son of Galileo did so in some style.
The Aidan O'Brien-trained colt opened up 4/6 in the quiet Gowran Park bookmakers ring (just 24 layers in attendance) but that was soon snapped up, and he was sent off the 4/9 favourite in this seven runner affair.
Seamie Heffernan 's mount tracked main market rival Cool Marble until taking it up over a furlong out, stretching clear in the closing stages to score by four and a half lengths.
'It was probably a good maiden at the Curragh, and he 's come on a good bit from the run,' commented Heffernan, who added, 'You will see the best of him when he goes up further in distance.'
