Having sent out a winner over jumps at Ayr less than 20 minutes earlier, trainer Stuart Crawford completed an across the card double as Annaghmccanns landed the Book Online At DundalkStadium.com Maiden.
Sent off 16/1 under Wayne Lordan, the four-year-old was much sharper on what was just her second racecourse appearance. Mid division on her initial outing over course and distance earlier this month, the filly clearly benefitted from that experience.
Well away from stalls, Annaghmccanns tracked the leaders for the first furlong, before moving up to go second behind Kinamara Jane
Heading the latter early in the straight, the Crawford trained filly stayed on strongly under Lordan to win by three-quarters-of-a-length.
Stable representative Ross Crawford said: "She probably just has spooked a little bit coming out of the stalls the first day, she jinked a little bit to the left - just greenness.
"We are not big Flat trainers and we wouldn't have a lot of runners on the Flat. We might get a few more now it it was going to keep going like that!
"She has (done it well and progressed from the first day) - to be fair, she stayed really well the last day, she had a lot of ground to make up. She was beaten a lot less the last day than what she lost and she stayed well.
"That's the only thing I said to Wayne was that I thought she stayed well. He used that little bit of information and all his years experience on top of that, and that was it.
"It worked out well and she stayed all the way to the line."
On the stable's winner in Ayr today, Kinbara Firstdraft, he added: "Great for a local syndicate ((Jetmac Syndicate). They have had a bit of hardship here and there as well."
