It didn't quite match his 6-timer from Troytown day last November, as one was a charity race victor, but the Gordon Elliott sextet at Punchestown this afternoon still represented an amazing achievement.
Two of the Cullentra House scorers were on debut for the Longwood handler — and the market pointed punters in the direction of all winners. Felix Desjy (11/8 favourite) rounded it off under Lisa O'Neill in the Punchestown For Events INH Flat Race.
Pallasator (13/8), Samcro (1/5), Ben Dundee (13/8), Death Duty (4/9) and King's Song (3/1) had preceded stable companion Felix Desjy's success.
By Maresca Sorrento, like 2014 Grand National hero, Pineau De Re, Felix Desjy was coming into his two mile assignment as a point-to-point winner.
Never slow with a one-liner, Eddie Hales said "I'd imagine he'll now go to a proper trainer," after he sent out the chestnut to land a Dromahane 'point,' in March.
There's no doubt Felix Desjy is with a 'proper trainer' now alright, and he defeated Gold Speed by ten lengths.
A fourth winner of the session for Gigginstown House Stud, the 'jolly' was impressive in the manner in which he asserted away inside the final quarter mile.
"He's a nice horse. A big galloping horse and a three-mile chaser in the making," remarked Elliott.
"I was delighted to hear there was something to make the running in the race and told Lisa to roll along upsides in front.
"She is a great bit of stuff. She's very lucky for Gigginstown and they are very good to her.
"I wouldn't say we'll go for another bumper. I think we'll go jumping hurdles with him straight away.
"It's a great day and I can't believe it. Any day you have one winner is great so to have that many winners, I can't believe it.
"We were having breakfast this morning and Simon (McGonagle) my head man, Mouse (O'Ryan) and Tom Howley said they were doing a lucky 63.
"Four of us done it. It only cost 63 quid and we all got a few quid out of it."
A €1 'Lucky 63' at SP on the 6 winners pays €1,191 excluding any bonus that bookmakers often add for getting the bet correct.
