Bound became the third winner on the day for Aidan O'Brien, and the second for Seamie Heffernan, when she shed her maiden tag in the Listed Trigo Stakes at Leopardstown.
O'Brien combined to land the 2.20 with Heffernan and James Cook whilst his son Donnacha rode Kenya to victory in the preceding Killavullan Stakes.
Bound chased the leaders in fourth, and she went second three furlongs out.
Ridden to lead under two furlongs out, the chestnut daughter of Galileo stayed on well in the final furlong.
She crossed the line with a length and three parts and half a length to spare over Cannonball (6/4 favourite) and Play The Game (66/1).
"Seamus always liked her and he wanted to ride her today. He gave her a lovely ride," said Aidan O'Brien.
"She is a very honest filly, and very clear winded. We didn't always get a clear run with her, and she's probably even better than her form.
"She's a very well-bred filly, and I'd say she will be going to the paddock next year."
C.D. Hayes, rider of Johann Bach trained by Patrick G. Harney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount didn't handle the ground.
