Seven lands gamble for Brassil
Double Seven was produced with a perfectly timed run to land the Labrokes Handicap Hurdle at Galway.
Mark Walsh produced his mount to take closer order turning in and he charged home from the last.
Martin Brassil 's charge got up in the closing stages to nab long-time leader Now This Is It and record a three-parts of a length victory in the €40,000 contest.
The JP McManus-owned winner had been well backed, from 10/1 in the morning, and was eventually sent off 4/1 favourite on course.
"That's great - satisfying. He was in off a nice weight here," said Brassil.
"Plenty of fellas were in a hurry to run horses early in the week and this race tends to thin out - luckily for him.
"Some of the faniced horses came out and I'm glad we took our chance in it.
"He's a nice honest horse and has done this well."
