Owner J.P. McManus completed a first-and-last races double at Punchestown today as his Front View won the concluding Sanctuary Synthetics INH Bumper for trainer Joseph O'Brien and jockey Derek O'Connor.
McManus' Blue Templar won the opening Ladies Cup for trainer Enda Bolger and three and a half hours and seven also-rans later, doubled his score when Front View scored a length win over Jungle Junction
Afterwards winning trainer O’Brien said “he was unlucky when brought down the last day but we’ve always thought the world of him. He’d a lovely run the first day and the race worked out well.
“He jumps very well and is an exciting horse for novice hurdling next year.”
