Lady produces fine front-running performance
My Cool Lady wasn't for catching in the ITBA Fillies Scheme Fillies Premier Bumper as she made all to land the spoils.
Andrew Duff kicked for home down the straight on the Old Vic mare and she galloped on strongly to land the €34,300 first prize. Shadow Eile gave chase but could only get within five-and-a-half lengths as 'Sneezy' Foster's charge ran out a convincing winner.
"All credit to Andrew Duff he knows the mare so well," said Foster.
"Whatever shes does in bumpers is a bonus. She's a brilliant jumper and I can't wait to see her over a fence.
"We decided to make use of her stamina as there were horses in behind that might be a bit quicker than her. She was mad in season which I was worried about."
