Storm stays on well to collect claimer
Colin has been lucky for us. We are very happy - he has loads of ability. I wasn't 100 per cent sure about this surface for him, but Colin thought he handled it well. He's tricky - he has always worked well, but he's just a little bit unreliable. You wouldn't set your clock to him!. He was (game in the finish) and he had to battle. He travelled around well. I'd imagine so (come back here soon if not claimed), but I'd say there could be a couple of people interested. He's a good dual-purpose type and he could even jump a fence. We've had our time with him and he has won twice for us.
Sweet success for Hayes as he rides first winner for O'Brien
Brigadier too strong for nursery rivals
It was a great run the last day. I'm delighted for the owners because they have backed me all the way. He was keen early and even Colin said you could bring that fella back to five (furlongs) if you want. There is a bit more in the tank there. We'll find another one for him in January, he seems to like it here. I'll see what the handicapper does to me.

Well supported Screamer lands finale
The last day, unfortunately for Leigh Roche, he couldn't do the weight just because it was winter time - he can normally do it. He was going to be over and we didn't want to carry overweight. I wouldn't take away a winning partnership and he (Hayes) is a very good jockey. He is just very hard to get at times. I like trying to use jockeys that I can use on a regular basis. I'm not a bad judge - they normally turn out good jockeys! (Robert) Whearty was the last one, but Noel Meade has latched on there!. He might not come back here - he is just a bit immature. I'd love to give him a break, but it is up to the owner really. I think a break will mature his mind. I don't think he will have any problem with the turf. I think he was just immature last year. You can see him being a bit bold in the stalls there, he's a bit of a baby now. That is all it is.
