Permission was given for The Kodi Kid (IRE) to wear a red hood to the start.
Richard Fahey was cautioned as Abduction (FR) had arrived in the Parade Ring without its declared visor, which was subsequently located and fitted prior to the gelding going to the start.
An enquiry was held to consider interference shortly after the start when Abduction (FR), placed fifth, ridden by Oisin McSweeney interfered with Kraken Power (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Josh Quinn.
Being a 7lb claimer, Quinn was offered the opportunity to be accompanied in the enquiry but declined.
McSweeney was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed Abduction (FR) to drift left-handed prior to being fully clear of a free running Kraken Power (IRE), causing Quinn to take a slight check.
Following the race, Josh Quinn reported that Kraken Power (IRE), placed sixth, was never travelling.
Erika Parkinson reported that Larado (FR), placed fourth, jumped awkwardly from the stalls and was slowly into stride.
