She was very unlucky the last day in Hexham (when second), she should have won. She came out of it very well and the guys Claire (Wylie) and Mark (Devlin, owners) wanted to come here. When we saw the entries, we said it was worth a crack. She has done it well, she's a pretty decent mare. She has a bit of class about her. I think she will go chasing at some point in the summer, but we might have a crack at another hurdle in the meantime. She has been a very consistent mare and I wouldn't mind a few more like her. Kudasheva was good, she got into a great rhythm and jumped from fence to fence. She had a run over fences under her belt and you'd be more confident coming here in a beginners with that run behind her. She improved for that latest run and it's great to get the win today. We couldn't have asked for more, but we probably thought she would have won before now. Hopefully now she'll keep progressing over fences. She's a tough mare and she's fit as she's been running all summer. The ground was the big worry today, she is tongue-tied, but Darragh said she really toughed it out. He was good and positive and let her get into a rhythm, which is very important for her breathing. Whenever they turned into the straight it was going to take a very tough one to pass her. The guys bred her and they deserve that. They've stuck by her and she's been fantastic for them. She just keeps staying but with her wind we've always been reluctant to run her on softer ground. Darragh said it is heavy down the back straight. She's actually beaten a few mares there that would prefer that ground. We're delighted with that. We might look at something else for her. The end goal is probably to breed off her we're always looking at black-type.
