FormscanBy Tom Weekes - SHESHOON SONNY won on his second start for his new trainer at Thurles recently and can add this. A useful if frustrating type in Britain, he was in strong contention when falling at Clonmel before winning his maiden hurdle at Thurles and comes here well suited by conditions from his 116 hurdle rating. Mount Melleray, rated 111 over hurdles, has his chance having chased home a capable type (albeit who disappointed on his next start) on chase debut at Gowran. His best form has been on testing ground and while drying ground might be a concern, looks the type to do well over fences. Erins Benefit was frustrating to follow over hurdles and while she makes her chase debut here, has a hurdles' rating of 116 and gets her mares' 7lbs allowance which helps her considerably. Another mare Breezy Bell was useful in handicap hurdles but also makes her chase debut. Arthur Fonzarelli beat County Hurdle winner Belfast Banter to win at Killarney last August but was well held on completed chase debut at Gowran in early-March.
