Joseph O'Brien's Beyond Your Dreams really pulled victory out of the fire in the three-year-old maiden hurdle at Fairyhouse to bring up a double for jockey Mark Walsh.

She went off 1/2 favourite on the back of a pair of runner-up berths on her first couple of cracks at hurdling at this track and in Navan.

It was Slurricane who made headway to touch down into the lead after two out from Young Churchill and at the last Beyond Your Dreams looked booked for third.

She got a second win on the run-in, though, and surged home to catch Slurricane, who looked all over the winner, close home.

The 'jolly' went on by three-quarters of a length from the 7/2 runner-up with Young Churchill (14/1) back in third.

Frank Berry, racing manager to J.P. McManus said: “She made heavy weather of it, but she got the job done.

"Hopefully, she can brush up on her jumping.

“Her form is working out with Gavin’s horse (Cromwell, Total Look) running well at Cheltenham today (third).”

Total Look beat Beyond Your Dreams by half a length in Navan last month.

This was Walsh's second winner on the card after an earlier success on Majborough Both horses are owned by McManus.
