With the defection of long-time favourite Bated Breath as well as Krypton Factor and Libranno the betting for the July Cup has been altered.

The James Fanshawe trained Society Rock is now the favourite at the general price of 3/1. The Mahmood Al Zarooni trained Sepoy is a close second best and is available at 4/1.

The David Wachman trained, Wayne Lordan ridden Fire Lily is next in the betting at 7/1 having moved in from her opening show of 9/1 with Paddy Powers, however she is still available at 8/1 with most firms.

The David Marnane trained Dandy Boy can be backed at a general price of 8/1 while the Aidan O’Brien trained Reply is 16/1.

Australian raider Ortensia, who was last seen finishing ninth in the King’s Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot, is ranging between the 9/1 to 11/1 marks.
