J.P. McManus has his first runner at Sligo on Tuesday following Limerick's famous All-Ireland hurling success on Sunday and the county's sponsor and super-fan sends the appropriately named and four-timer chasing Pass The Ball into action in the Rockshore Lager Handicap Hurdle.

McManus' horses often carry sporting names and Pass The Ball himself has proven an all-rounder, having won three point to points, a flat handicap, three hurdles and a chase and today goes in search of a ninth career success,

The Niall Madden trained nine year old son of Westerner must today give weight away to each of his 11 rivals but does have solid claims, having won over course and distance a fortnight ago.

Amongst his dangers are Graineyhill, who represents in-form Gordon Elliott, who recorded a five-timer at Perth last week, while The Jam Man has won four of his last five starts, when sent to Britain, and is another with solid claims.

Racing begins with the Hop House 13 Lager (Mares) Maiden Hurdle where Champion Trainer Willie Mullins introduces French recruit Eglantine Du Seuil, under Ruby Walsh while the pair team up in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Handicap Hurdle with top weight Pleasure Dome, who chases a third win in four starts.

Mullins' Poker D'ainay, from the family of smart stayer Crystal D'Ainay, is a very notable debutante in the concluding bumper.
