Realt Dubh among Poplar Chase 8

Realt Dubh is among eight horse entered for the Grade 3, Poplar Square Chase at Naas this Saturday.

The Noel Meade trained 7yo was Ireland's top Novice Chaser over 2m last season winning five, including three Grade 1's.

He also finished third in the Arkle at Cheltenham behind Captain Chris and second at the Punchestown Festival again behind Captain Chris.

Speaking for the Tattersalls Horse in Training Autumn Sales Meade said: "I'm not sure whether or not he will run. I will make a decision on Wednesday."

If he does line up he could face old rival Noble Prince from the Paul Nolan yard, who he beat three times last season.

Blazing Tempo, De Valira and Loosen My Load could also feature in the race which is worth €27,500.
