Point-to-point winner Serra Nova got it right on her fourteen start on the track as she took the Follow Us On Twitter Handicap Hurdle for her trainer Donie Murphy with Brian O'Connell aboard.

The 7yo daughter of Dushyantor ran well on her last two starts at Limerick in May, finishing third on both occasions behind See Double You and Cerveza Dinero respectively.

Sent off at 8/1 this afternoon she chased the leaders along way off the pace early on before closing from before the straight.

She came with her challenge and led at the last before staying on well on the run-in to score by two lengths at the line from the Robert Tyner trained Ballylibert in second at 14/1.

Courtncatcher finished a further three and a quarter lengths back in third for Patrick Duffy and Davy Russell at 20/1 while the well backed 7/4 favourite (opened 9/4) Clara More finished a head back in fourth for Eoghan O'Grady and Adrian Heskin.

Winning trainer Donie Murphy said afterwards: "She won a point-to-point and she has been running consistently well and deserved to win.

"My brother Matt bred and owns her. She runs in the colours of Lieutenant Colonel Dick Warden.

"He was one of the people who got the Sheikhs into racing in the early stages and my father trained a few horses for him.

"When he died he wanted his colours to be continued to be used."
