An action packed day of top class National Hunt racing and fashion is set to take place at Tipperary Race course on Sunday.

The feature race is the Grade 3, Kevin McManus Bookmaker Grimes Hurdle which could see last year's first two face each other again.

Captain Cee Bee just got the better of The Real Article by a short head in a controversial finish which saw the runner-up given a hands and heels ride away from the last.

Other interesting entries for the race include the Gordon Elliott trained Discoteca, who won his last four, the Michael Winters trained Rebel Fitz, ten time winner Luska Lad and the lightly raced The Way We Were.

The first race at 2:30 is the Packie Downey Memorial Chase and the Mouse Morris trained Baily Green could bid for his hat-trick in this 2m 1f contest.

His Excellency, who is two from two over fences, Grand National runner-up Out Now and the smart hurdler Jack Cool could also line up in the opening race.

The Ballykisteen Hotel & Golf Resort Hurdle at 4:05 looks set to be another interesting contest with the smart chaser Mossey Joe among the twelve entries.

Back In Focus could make his debut for Willie Mullins in the three miles race while Whispering Hills and recent Killarney winner Catcherinscratcher are the other stand out entries.

The Tony Martin trained Victrix Gale will be bidding for her fourth success in-a-row in the www.thetote.com Galway Plate Trial Handicap Steeplechase while Cheltenham bumper third, Pique Sous will prove hard to beat should he line up in the last, the Jim Ryan Racecourse Services Bumper.
