The Curragh hosts a valuable weekend of racing with the Goffs Million on Saturday and the Friends Of The Curragh Irish Cesarewitch on Sunday greatly contributing to total prizemoney of over two and a quarter million euro.
The €1,234,000 Goffs Million has attracted a field of 19 runners with the Ger Lyons-trained Hellsing currently 3/1 favourite for Europe’s richest juvenile race.
Aidan O'Brien's Hiawatha is also a course winner and is next in the market at 9/2, while other significant home runners include Zoinnocent and Bossy Parker.
The UK challenge is headed by Edward Bethell's Oviedo and the Archie Watson-trained He's A Monster.
The Alan Smurfit Memorial Beresford Stakes is also on Saturday's card and Aidan O'Brien, who won this Group 2 race last year with Luxembourg, bids for an amazing 22nd win in the mile event with Continuous and Adelaide River.
The first race on Saturday gets underway at 1.05pm, while racegoers can also enjoy a culinary feast both days with the Taste Of Kildare.
