Arteea had little more than an exercise canter as he recorded an effortless win from sole remaining rival Top Strategy in the Tote Exacta Ballybrit Novice Chase.

'It was made easy for him but, for a horse that doesn't like being in front, he jumped super. This is not the easiest place in the world to jump around,' said a delighted Hourigan afterwards.
He added, 'He won the Land Rover Bumper last year and was a sick horse like most of mine earlier this year. He will stick to novices and go for the better races. The ground doesn't seem to matter to him.'
