End of season awards presented by Minister for Agriculture

Minister for Agriculture Simon Coveney presented the end of season awards at Punchestown today with Willie Mullins (Champion Trainer), Davy Russell (Champion Jockey) and J.P. McManus (Champion Owner) receiving the top awards.

Mullins won the award for the fifth time while Russell was taking his first Jockeys' Championship, having finished second on five previous occasions. Owner J.P. McManus had some €100,000 to spare over Gigginstown House Stud in his category.

Mullins' son Patrick Mullins took the Champion Amateur Award while Pat Mangan was leading Conditional Rider.
