Jamie Codd recorded a double at Ballydarragh point-to-point yesterday on his return to the saddle from breaking his femur at Kilsheelan on October 16th of last year.

Codd's first winner came in the second of six races at the Co Wexford venue aboard Spanish Arch trained by his brother Willie.

The 5yo gelding was having his second career start having finish fourth on his debut at Kilmallock in April of last year and he stayed on best yesterday to beat Dushy Valley by a length.

Codd completed his double in the Open Lightweight aboard the Gordon Elliott trained Backstage.

Backstage was recording his sixth point-to-point win of the season and is now firmly on course for a tilt at the Foxhunters Chase at the Cheltenham Festival in March.
