Separate Ways who created such an impression as to warrant a 16Ib hike in the ratings when sluicing up on his first outing for David Marnane on Tuesday, followed up, again in good style in the Dawn Flavoured Milk Handicap under a mandatory 5Ib penalty.

Unsurprisingly sent off the 6/5 market leader, Colm O'Donoghue’s mount led a furlong and a half out and in the end he was heavily eased to prevail by a most unflattering three parts of a length.
