Bright gives Keane treble and Meade a welcome winner

Too Bright ran out a cosy winner of the finale at Roscommon to give champion Colin Keane a treble on the card.
The Noel Meade-trained gelding had been knocking on the door this season and made no mistake int he handicap over just shy of a mile-and-a-half.
Keane produced his mount to lead two furlong from home and the 5/2 favourite asserted in the closing stages, easing up close home to score by four-and-a-half lengths from Rock Ya Boy Ya
Meade said:- “I’m delighted to see a winner as the horses haven’t been flying and I was thinking if that one didn’t run well I was in trouble.
“We thought he was firing at home so it’s nice to see one coming in. He’d two good runs, wants goodish ground and stays well.
“He’ll make a nice jumper. Albert (Dravins, part-owner) bought him to jump so I’d say he’ll mix it. He jumps quite well and you’d hope he’ll be good at that.
“He may run on the Flat again while the ground is good.”
Keane had earlier partnered Offiah to a landmark victory for Ger Lyons and also teamed up with Dermot Weld aboard Harannda
