Recent claiming race winner My Minervina (7/1) gained consecutive for same connections today, landing Killarney's GMIB Handicap for owner Peter Saville, trainer Jessica Harrington and jockey Shane Foley.
The daughter of Holy Roman Emperor went unclaimed for €15,000 having won a Bellewstown claimer on July 1 and today arrived form off the pace to lead close home and defeat High Altitude by a length.
Foley later said “I was glad she wasn't claimed at Bellewstown when she just got her head in front.
“She is a filly we liked as a two year old, had some good two year old form and is coming good again. Her confidence is up, the horses are really in form ahead of Oaks weekend (with runner and Royal Ascot winner Magical Lagoon), so hopefully we can keep it going.”
