I said to them both to commit 100 per cent to whatever they were going to do and go down on your sword. I'd say we will stop with Ainippe once we discuss it with the Sheikh. She just looks like she is not in love with the game anymore. It's nice, we have won a Listed with this filly (Queen Catrine) and she has been working every bit as good as Ainippe at home. P.J. Smullen, rider of Raymonda (USA) trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount ran flat throughout this race. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Raymonda (USA), trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be distressed post race. The Stewards enquired into an incident about two furlongs from the finish involving Mimicking, ridden by K.J. Manning, placed sixth, Most Beautiful (GB), ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed second and Raymonda (USA), ridden by P.J. Smullen, placed fourth, where it appeared that Mimicking ran short of room and was checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was accidental in nature and took no further action.
