Philip Fenton is hoping Last Instalment will be ready to return to action from injury around Christmas time.

The eight-year-old is back cantering after being sidelined with a tendon injury since taking his unbeaten record over fences to four in the Dr P.J. Moriarty Novice Chase at Leopardstown in February 2012.

"All is well with Last Instalment. He's cantering and it's so far so good. His legs seem to be all good," said the Co Tipperary handler.

"All being well we might have Last Instalment out before Christmas, but no plans have been made yet."

Fenton is looking to the New Year before Dunguib will make his comeback.

The 2009 Cheltenham Champion Bumper hero has been off the track since finishing eighth to Hurricane Fly in the Champion Hurdle in March 2011.

"Dunguib is still doing roadwork and will be on the roads until the end of this month," he said.

"It will be Christmas before Last Instalment will be ready and it will be after Christmas before Dunguib is seen out."
