Limerick Thu, 30th May, 2024  Long Gone I got in contact with Gilmer (Bates, owner) through Jonathan Birkmore and Danny Fitzsimmons in the north who have horses with me, and I had success selling horses with Jonathan. We had this mare entered at a sale last week but felt we might be 'penalised' for not having gone for a bumper so I said to Gilmer that he would be mad to sell her. Her work since Wexford had been brilliant. She is a smart mare, probably does a bit more on the track than at home and we'll give her a chance now and see what Gilmer wants to do.

Clonmel Thu, 16th May, 2024  Natural Look She is rising nine and when you start to think about going to stud and covering them. We gave her a break after being pulled up at Leopardstown and I said to David (Needham, owner) would we give somebody a chance to claim her and buy a younger horse. To be fair to her she has won four races and been placed ten times. She has been a great mare for us and collected a couple of bonuses along the way as well. If she’s claimed she’s claimed and if she’s coming home we’re happy as well.
