Fairyhouse Thu, 30th May, 2024  Vivienda She's a lovely honest filly and whatever she has she gives. She's a work in progress, she's light and she's only going to start thriving now with the weather. Seven to a mile (is her trip) on top of the ground and hopefully she'll win another one. I'd say she'll have a date in the July sales so we'll run her up to that point and then decide whether she goes or not.

Curragh Fri, 24th May, 2024  Global Energy I'm delighted. He had a little problem, we solved it, and he's just got better and better,. I have to thank Ted Durcan because, even though he's won over a mile-four and a mile-two, he just reckoned he wasn't staying and to drop him back to a mile. I did and he just loved it out there. . Robbie said he wasn't going to let anyone by him, that he was just having a ball up front. . I put him in the Hunt Cup at Ascot, John loves having runners there. He was too low in the handicap, I don't know what he'll get for this and I don't know if he'll get enough to squeak in. . That opens up loads of options though.

Gowran Park Tue, 23rd Apr, 2024  Norwalk Havoc He said he hated the tacky ground. He doesn't do a stroke, he was looking at everything but he'll get there. That was only his third run and I'm delighted with him,. Shane said he'll be better on a bit better ground, he said that's really tacky. We'll take little baby steps with him. He said he thinks he'll be better in a better race when he gets taken along, because when he got to the front there he looked at everything — he did the same in Leopardstown.

Leopardstown Wed, 10th Apr, 2024  Norwalk Havoc he didn't behave very well at the Curragh last year and when he came back, got castrated which seems to have done the job. We always thought he had ability but he wasn't giving it to us and it was great to get his head in front. I just thought for a moment at the furlong pole, when he got upsides Ryan's horse, that he was going to think about it, but he actually ran out a ready winner in the end and stayed on great. Shane said he actually couldn't go any quicker than he was going and he then quickened up well in the straight and went through the ground very easily. We'll try and find a winners of one for him now and take it from there.

He’s won over a mile and a quarter and a bit further, but he’s improved with age. I think he can run over anything from a mile up to a mile and three. I don’t think he’s ground dependent, and I can play with the trip. He’s a real nice horse to look forward to. I’m sorry for Robbie (Colgan), but I wanted to take weight off him.
